Craig Kantner

President, Damage Doctors of Indianapolis

“Don’t shrink back from your purpose because you think you’re inadequate.  Your life experiences have prepared you for this moment.”  No kidding!  From disassembling and rebuilding lawn mowers in his youth, through the experiences of a 4-year football letterman, fraternity brother, and graduate of Ball State University, to fatherhood and successful endeavors in sales, commercial roof consulting, and business ownership, Craig’s life experiences have prepared him exactly for the role of President and Director of Operations for Damage Doctors of Indianapolis.  He has the utmost confidence in diagnosing and resolving the variety of property “failures” that call for our services, and the absolute passion and heart to mindfully serve our clients.

A native of Indiana, Craig’s inherent drive is clearly reflected in his three successful children: Cameron, a graduate student at Indiana University Bloomington; Kennedy, a sophomore, nursing student at North Park University in Chicago; and Karly, a high school junior who aspires to serve our country as a military trauma surgeon.

Along with Sara, his business partner and wife of 12 years, Craig enjoys minimal time away, reading about our nation’s business icons (i.e.,Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, etc.), and watching football with his beloved Weimaraner, Layla.

Sara Kantner

Vice President, Damage Doctors of Indianapolis

It is a not-uncommon notion that the average person will work through at least 5 or 6 different careers before settling on their final calling.  As evidenced by Sara’s career path, this might very well be true:  retail store manager, financial industry marketing manager, print industry sales representative, and business owner.  Never a dull moment!

Born and raised in northwest Ohio, Sara holds a BA from DePauw University and an MBA from Loyola Chicago Graduate School of Business.  While primarily responsible for sales and administration, Sara is also IICRC-certified in water mitigation and fire restoration, viewing the physical exertions of that job (i.e., moving contents, ripping out wet carpet and drywall, deep cleaning a soot-filled home) as “today’s great work out!”

Proud stepmother to her amazing and talented children, Cameron, Kennedy and Karly, Sara is also “Mommy” to two canine daughters, Abby (Yorkie) and Layla (Weimaraner).  Each fall, she enjoys volunteering as a girls’ youth basketball coach at the church she attends with her husband and business partner, Craig.
